Introduction to Jazz – no previous experience required (Beginner). Ladies only
All lessons at beginner level are broken down so anyone with absolutely NO DANCE EXPERIENCE can easily follow along.
In this fun class, we will be learning the basic techniques used in jazz dancing. Learning a variety of jumps, kicks, and turns which can be integrated into combinations with music! We will learn stretches to increase flexibility along with exercises to strengthen coordination and balance. You’ll be working on lengthening those big leg muscles and your lower back. By learning new skills each week, we will create combinations that allow us to play with stylization and dynamics with the music! And let me tell you, besides getting strong, flexible, and coordinated, those boppin’ beats in jazz dance class will have you building up your endurance and stamina like crazy! This class is taught by Nikita Nobert and Jaiden Hoa. Can’t wait to dance with you!
Jazz dance classes are all about getting those muscles nice and stretched out. And guess what? Not only will your hips, shoulders, and spine get more flexible, but you’ll also notice an improved range of motion. So get ready to groove and let your body go with jazz dance training!
